Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival, after passing through immigration and customs, your representative will meet you at the exit hall with a sign displaying your name. In the early evening, your driver will collect you from your hotel and take you on a tour of a few places around the medina.

Marrakech, the fourth-largest city in Morocco, is renowned for its culture, souks, and landmarks. Jemaa el-Fnaa, one of North Africa’s most famous squares, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site.

The day begins with an excursion from Marrakech to Imlil, departing by car at around 9 am. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and leads south through the Moulay Brahim Gorges, past the Asni weekly market held every Saturday, and finally to Imlil.

Imlil, at 1740 meters, is situated in the upper foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains. It serves as a major trailhead with streams and paths leading in all directions. You’ll leave the vehicle to enjoy a refreshing glass of mint tea in the village and meet your local guide. The guide will take you on a culinary journey, where you’ll learn to create an authentic Moroccan menu and bake fresh Moroccan bread. This cooking experience aims to satisfy your taste buds, fill your stomach, and introduce you to the world of Moroccan cuisine.

After the cooking class, you’ll return to Imlil and then head back to Marrakech.

Your day begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. You’ll drive over the spectacular Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass, traveling through many Berber villages, riverside oases, and kasbahs that dot the barren hillsides. En route, you have the option to visit the Ouarzazate Film Studios or go for a hike. Your journey takes you to the Dades Gorge, where you can opt for another hike or relax at your hotel. You’ll spend the night in Dades.

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll transfer from the Dades Valley to Todra Gorge. The gorge is a massive fault dividing the High Atlas mountains, rising 300 meters in a narrow valley with palm trees and Berber villages. You’ll have the opportunity to go for a hike and explore the palm grove. After lunch, you’ll continue further into the desert to the gateway town of Merzouga to gather supplies for your desert adventure. You’ll then drive to a kasbah to pick up your camels. At sunset, you’ll ride a camel for about an hour and a half to reach a Berber camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and spend the night under the stars or in tents in the desert.

You’ll wake up to a desert sunrise and return to the kasbah on camelback. After freshening up and enjoying breakfast, you’ll leave the desert for a drive to Ait Benhaddou. This ancient fortified city features countless kasbahs and has served as the backdrop for numerous Hollywood movies. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the buildings with your guide. You’ll spend the night in a hotel near Ait Benhaddou.
